Rock & blues
Dreadnot’s rise from high school acoustic metal to half-baked reggae living room jams at James Madison University to their current iteration of high-energy rock shows around Virginia is proof that music takes time and dedication. In-between their 8-5 jobs, the fast-rising quintet is forming a unique style defined by their diverse interests and shared roots, having known each other since elementary school. The chemistry from familiarity is evident in their live shows, with originals that dynamically explore elements of rock and blues and re-worked covers that run the gamut from Stevie Wonder to Manchester Orchestra. Be sure to catch a live show - you’ll find your head bobbing and the beers going down smoother than usual.
